What year did you begin working at DML?
1988
What positions have you held at DML, and at what locations have you worked?
LTA-1 (Main Circulation), LTA-3 (Northmont, Main AVD, Burkhardt), Branch & Extension Assistant, Reference Assistant (Burkhardt).
What do you consider to be the best thing about working at DML?
I have met some wonderful people over the years. Both staff and patrons.
What is your favorite book?
No Ordinary Time by Doris Kearns Goodwin (Nonfiction); Kane & Abel by Jeffrey Archer (Fiction)
What is your favorite place to visit/vacation?
Washington D.C.
Name an interesting fact about yourself that most people wouldn't know.
Of the six positions I have held at the library, I only actually applied for two of them. However, over the years I have applied for more positions than I can count. Strange, but true!

What do you consider to be the best thing about working at DML?
Great coworkers and all the books you can eat.
What is your favorite book?
Book: Milk, Sulphate, and Alby Starvation. By Martin Millar.
What is your favorite place to visit/vacation?
Asheville North Carolina is pretty cool. Lots of art.

I studied Classical Violin for over 12 years.

What do you consider to be the best thing about working at DML?
Working with great people, and being around so many books and other information sources.
What is your favorite book and hobbies?
I like to read mysteries, especially those by and/or about women. My hobbies are cross-stitching, going to garage sales and thrift stores, and walking.
What is your favorite place to visit/vacation?
Inside a good book.

Catalog Librarian downtown for 4 ½ yrs; Teen Librarian at Huber Heights since then
What do you consider to be the best thing about working at DML?
I love to help people, I love to work with teens, I love to learn little bits about subjects new to me, and I love to find books to read. I tell people I have the best job in the world.
What is your favorite book?
Reading is my favorite thing to do. Favorite authors include Dorothy L. Sayers and Lois McMaster Bujold. I could never pick just one book!
What is your favorite place to visit/vacation?
I got to live in England for a few months, and I’d love to go back and do some traveling in Europe.
Name an interesting fact about yourself that most people wouldn't know.
I enjoy folk dancing though I haven’t done it for years, and I’d like to get involved in ice dancing some day.

What positions have you held at DML, and at what locations have you worked?
I began as a sub at East branch. I then became the switchboard operator in the Finance Office at Main. Since then I’ve served in several positions in the Finance Office.
What do you consider to be the best thing about working at DML?
The best thing about my job is interacting with our great staff.
What is your favorite movie?
My favorite movie is Tommy Boy.
What is your favorite place to visit/vacation?
I love vacationing to anywhere; but since my 5 year old niece lives in Bradenton Florida that’s become my favorite destination place.
Name an interesting fact about yourself that most people wouldn't know.
I’m one of 6 children and have lived in Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, & Iowa.
