OK, I get it. People are busy.  But we need to pass this levy or face a real problem.  So we need people to volunteer. So we decided to bribe you.

If you come to one of our work parties, we'll feed you. You already know that.  But that bribe doesn't seem to be enough to lure a lot of people out of their homes on a Thursday evening, so we're sweetening the pot.  Here's the new and improved offer:

If you come to one of our work parties, we'll give you an awesome Issue 40 mug (while supplies last) AND we'll feed you.  Sign up for the first work party and be the first kid on your block with this super-sweet Issue 40 mug (while supplies last).

NOTES:

  1. They haven't made our mugs yet, so the image is an artist's (web nerd's) rendition of what the cup will probably look like.
  2. Since our mugs don't exist yet (see note 1), we don't have them to give out on Thursday.  But we will take your name and deliver your mug to you (before we get them to anyone else...you'll be the first person in your office with this ultra-cool Issue 40 mug (while supplies last)).
