The LMC recommendations in the previous post have now been approved by Mr. Kambitsch.  They must now be approved by the Library Board.  I made a slight faux pas in posting the information as a final decision, as the LMC has no real function other than to talk and to make recommendations. 

During negotiaions, we were assured by the Library that Mr. Kambitsch "...almost never goes against recommendations of the LMC...", so taking the Library's word as accurate, it seemed pretty safe to post.  But it was, nonetheless, a misrepresentation I made, as has been pointed out to me in a terse message from HR.
