There is news on the negotiation front. Cindi Chibis contacted me today to discuss whether a negotiated agreement might still be possible before the whole proverbial train flies right off the old proverbial tracks. Since then, I've worked with her and with Tim Kambitsch, and with our attorney and our negotiating team. It looks as though an agreement in principle has been reached.
Tomorrow morning (9/1), we'll try to hammer out final language to fully define the agreement in principle, and have it published in time for an on-line vote to ratify before Wednesday's board meeting. It's an aggressive schedule, but if things go well, we'll be able to bring it home.
