To facilitate better communication, I've implemented a "Pizza with the Prez" program. Twice a month, I will travel to a branch or agency and I will join them for lunch...on me. I'm providing $50 (out of my pocket, not DMLSA money) to pay for pizza, and I will bring it to the location of your choice. If you're interested in this program, contact your agency rep, who can contact me to set up lunch.
Why am I doing this? In part, to thank you for trusting the Staff Association to represent you. In part, to meet you all. In part, to have lunch with friends. But mostly it's to hear your voices. You are the driving force behind this organization. You are why we exist. Our strength and support come from you. So our direction should come from you.
A union is an organization that is only as strong as its members.
We are only as strong as our communication. We are only as strong as
our collective spirit.
