As described earlier, February 28th is our “official” voting day, but we're opening the polls for early voting. Voting will be carried out on this web site. You'll need to log in to cast your vote. Only voting members can get to the ballot.

A short summary of the issue follows. If you need more detail, you can read the detailed description, which was posted earlier. (Click here to read that post.)

The vote will be for or against acceptance of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the library and the Staff Association. A vote of “yes” will be a vote to accept the proposed MOU. A vote of “no” will be to reject the proposed MOU.

A Yes Vote Means: A No Vote Means:
The PPO will remain an option for bargaining unit members
Only the HRA will be available to bargaining unit members
A supplemental insurance (or health related reimbursement program) will be made available and funded by the library at up to $25 per month
No supplemental insurance (or health related reimbursement) program will exist

To cast your vote, simply log in and click on the "Ballot" option on the main menu to the right. Voting members may only vote once. Once you have voted, the vote button on the ballot will disappear. This will prevent multiple voting. All votes are anonymous.
