NOTE: Anthem has begun and is probably most of the way through the adjustment process. You HRA account should not be showing the prorated amount; it should show the full amount. Also, you should have received your new cards, or should receive them soon. If not, contact HR to follow up.
Anthem has (finally) made deposits into our HRA accounts. The problem is that they have not fully funded the accounts. We were promised full funding for the first (shortened) year, and they prorated it. If the problem is not rectified, then Anthem will have pocketed another $34,000 (or so) of our money.
I've raised the issue with Cindi Chibis, letting her know that the
union and library should work together to take action against any
unethical insurance sales tactics. Ms. Chibis assured me that Anthem
will adjust the amounts. She says "...As I have explained numerous
times, the process takes time."
So, DMLSA stands ready to fight for your money, should Anthem not make
the necessary adjustments. But the library assures us that they will.
