This is just a quick note to let you know our feelings on Tim Kambitsch's "Budget of Sustainability." Although we've not done huge amounts of analysis, the document produced by Mr. Kambitsch is not a surprise, nor is it particularly alarming news. The vote count is complete and the extension has been ratified. Of 193 ballots cast, 9 were against, 184 were in favor of ratification. Before we start negotiations in May, we (the negotiating team) wanted to meet with you (the members). The meeting will happen on Sunday, April 25th at Arbor Hall. We'll meet at 4:00 pm. We will discuss the library's financial situation and other issues relevant to the negotiations. We also hope to get some feedback (and marching orders) from you, the folks we're representing at the table. So y'all come now. We'll see you on Sunday, the 25th of April at 4:00 pm at Arbor Hall.
